ColyVan Pacific utilized the services of Coopers & Lybrand, Chartered Accountants, to establish our financial services and this accounting expertise and purchase order system sets us apart from other management companies, allowing us to offer our clients a range and quality of service not normally found in property management organizations.

Our computer network service gives ColyVan Pacific technical support, backup and data security for our systems, and most importantly for our clients. It is essential in maintaining accurate records.

All employees are covered by a $1,000,000.00 Fidelity Bond in addition to the nominal bonding requirements under our licensing through the Real Estate Council. ColyVan Pacific also carries Errors and Omissions Insurance for both management and staff.

Job Openings 

Strata Accounting Clerk

This is a permanent full-time position.


– Maintain the property management books 

– Prepare monthly and annual statements for Strata Corporations and Property Owners  

– Bank and trust reconciliations  

– Prepare and review AR work  

– Prepare and review AP work 

– Prepare weekly deposits for Strata Corporations/Process EFT files  

– Review monthly financial statements, make recommendation and adjustments 

– File statutory returns (GST WorkSafe BC) 

– Prepare year end audit working paper and liaised with the auditors during the field 


– 2 years accounting/bookkeeping experience 

– 2 years of real estate property accounting experience 

– Must be detail-oriented, organized and able to prioritize workload and multi-task 

– Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing 

– Ability to make smart decision and a strong problem-solving skills 

– Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines 

– Self-starter with high degree of initiative 

– Working knowledge of the Strata Property Act and asset
